Houston Rockets center Bruno Caboclo inadvertently broke quarantine at the NBA “bubble” in Florida, according to a Monday report by ESPN.  Caboclo now must self-quarantine in his hotel room for another eight days before returning to team activities for the re-start of the league in late July.

The NBA has set in place this mandatory quarantine period for anyone who breaks the league’s safety protocols, with an aim to reduce exposure to COVID-19 and any potential spread within the “bubble”.

24-year-old Caboclo played just 28 minutes after he signed with the Rockets, across five games during the 2019-20 season.
