The Brooklyn Nets are signing Justin Anderson according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania. Anderson will be joining his new team Saturday (18/7) in Orlando, Florida. Anderson had briefly been with the Nets in January.
Brooklyn had a couple of issues heading to Orlando for the NBA restart. Apart from injured stars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, the team was without Spencer Dinwiddie, DeAndre Jordan and Tauran Prince who opted to not play the remainder of the season after testing positive for coronavirus.
The Nets then saw newly-acquired forward Michael Beasley also testing positive for coronavirus and being forced to leave the bubble. Donta Hall and Lance Thomas joined the team afterward.
