Ricky Rubio practiced with the Phoenix Suns Tuesday (21/7) in the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, per New York Times’ Marc Stein. The Suns also hinted that the Spanish guard is with them in the NBA bubble with a tweet on the team’s upcoming scrimmage vs. the Utah Jazz Thursday (23/7).
“TWO days until you see this duo back on the court,” the Suns tweeted with a picture of Rubio with Devin Booker.
Whether Rubio is in Orlando was previously a mystery. It was reported that the player didn’t make the initial trip with the rest of his team and hasn’t been in any practice, as of last Sunday. Suns coach Monty Williams wasn’t making any comment about whether some players are absent or not.
Before NBA shut it down on March 11, Rubio had 3.1 points, 8.9 assists and 4.6 rebounds
