NBA, NBPA announce zero positive tests on league campus over last nine days

There have been zero positive tests for coronavirus among the 344 players in the Walt Disney World Resort campus over the past nine days, the NBA and NBPA (National Basketball Players Association) jointly announced.

Per the announcement: “Of the 344 players tested for COVID-19 on the NBA campus since test results were last announced on July 20, zero have returned confirmed positive tests.”

The news arrives one day before the NBA officially resumes Thursday (July 30) with the game between the New Orleans Pelicans and the Utah Jazz. It will be the first official NBA match after March 11, when the season was suspended.

Thursday’s action also includes the Los Angeles LakersLos Angeles Clippers game.
