Shortly before officially resuming their 2019-20 campaign, the Sacramento Kings had a player returning an inconclusive result for coronavirus, according to ESPN. The player is expected to be available for the seeding game versus the San Antonio Spurs following negative test results on Thursday and Friday but was quarantined through today, according to the health guidelines implemented by the NBA for the Orlando bubble.
Teams already expressed their concerns on potential inconclusive or false-positive test results that can prevent a player from participating in a game of the single-site season-ending tournament. In these cases, players must produce two negative test results to be cleared.
Sacramento players Alex Len, Jabari Parker, and Buddy Hield all previously tested positive for coronavirus but have since been cleared to rejoin their teammates.
The Kings are coming into the eight additional regular season contests 3.5 wins away from the eighth and final spot of the Western Conference that leads to the playoffs.
