Jusuf Nurkic competed in the play-in game vs. Memphis Grizzlies with a heavy heart, as he earlier on Saturday announced the passing of his grandmother due to coronavirus on his Instagram account.
Nurkic first delivered the news that his 67-year-old grandmother Hana had recently fallen into a coma after contracting COVID-19 back in his home country after the Portland Trail Blazers‘ first game in the NBA bubble in Orlando in late July.
