Boston Celtics forward Gordon Hayward will be sidelined for the next four weeks, after suffering a grade III ankle sprain on Monday, the team announced Tuesday.
Hayward sprained his ankle during the fourth quarter of Monday’s game against Philadelphia, the first one of their playoffs series and left the court with 12 points, four rebounds and four steals in 34 minutes.
The 30-year-old small forward has posted an average of 17.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.1 assists during the 2019-20 season.
