Slovenian guard Goran Dragic scored 24 points, Jimmy Butler had 28 and Bam Adebayo finished the game with a double-double (17 p. 10 r.) as the Miami Heat got the convincing 113-101 win over the Indiana Pacers.
Butler after almost seven months without making a three, made two to seal the final outcome of the game. Dragic added one in an 11-2 surge that made it 107-95 with just over two minutes remaining. In total the Slovenian guard scored 14 of his points in the last quarter.
With Victor Oladipo playing just nine minutes, before sustaining a left-eye injury TJ Warren and Malcolm Brogdon with 22 points each couldn’t save the day for the Pacers.
Indiana is still missing Lithuanian big man Domantas Sabonis with a foot injury and there’s no timetable about his return.
The game was decided in the last quarter with Miami scoring 32 points while keeping Indiana to 21 and getting the 1-0 lead in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
