Luka Doncic and Montrezl Harrell had a verbal spat during Game 3 of the series between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers.
In the mid of the first period, Harrell scored a strong putback basket while being guarded by both Doncic and Dorian Finney-Smith and then appeared to be calling the Slovenian player a “Bit** as* white boy” while returning to defense.
Some plays afterward, Doncic fouled Harrell who fell on the court. The Mavs star told stared down at Harrell and told him to “stop flopping” which led to a somewhat heated exchange between the two players. They both received technical fouls as a result.
The Clippers beat the Mavericks 130 – 122 to take a 2-1 lead in the series. Doncic, who registered a triple-double, exited the match with a left ankle sprain in the third quarter.
