Luka Doncic was forced to exit Game 3 vs. LA Clippers with four minutes left in the third period due to a left ankle sprain after a collision with Kawhi Leonard and the Mavericks have listed him as “questionable” for Game 4 (Sunday 23/8).
Doncic, speaking with reporters after the game mentioned he was scheduled for an MRI, saying, “It’s not that bad. A little sprain. We’ll know more tomorrow”, though it still remains uncertain if he can return for Sunday’s game.
Doncic posted a historic triple-double prior to his injury in game 3, with 13 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, becoming the third-youngest player ever to register a triple-double in the playoffs.
