When Luka Doncic drilled the game-winning three against LA Clippers in Game 4, it became the second-longest buzzer-beater in postseason history, trailing only Damian Lillard’s 36-footer that sent Oklahoma City Thunder home last season.
With the clock ticking down and the Mavs behind the series with 1-2, Doncic hit the game-winning three that was marked as a 28-foot by the official scorer, probably the best shot of his career so far.
Doncic’s first career buzzer-beater added up to his 43-point triple-double and it was the first postseason buzzer-beater for Mavericks since Vince Carter’s in Game 3 of the 2014 quarterfinals vs. San Antonio Spurs (per ESPN). What is more, he also became the youngest-ever player to make a buzzer-beater in playoffs history.
