Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard is leaving the NBA bubble to have his right knee examined in Portland and it has not been determined if he will return to Orlando for a future playoff game, per the team’s statement.
An MRI on Tuesday revealed that Lillard has a knee sprain and he would miss Game 5 of the playoffs, prior to the postponement of the game day in protest to the Kenosha shooting.
Lillard, who has been averaging 24.3 points, 4.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds across 4 games in the 2019-20 playoffs suffered said injury during Monday’s loss and didn’t return to the game.
