Nikola Jokic had the final say as the Nuggets overcame Jazz in Game 7.

An amazing series came to an end as Nikola Jokic made the tiebreaking basket with 27 seconds left and the Nuggets advanced to the Western Conference semifinals, beating the Utah Jazz 80-78 on Tuesday, as Mike Conley’s three-pointer tipped in and out at the buzzer.

Nuggets became the 12th team in NBA history to overcome a 3-1 deficit to win a series, behind a big-time performance by Jokic who posted 30 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists in 39 minutes. Jamal Murray and Mike Porter Jr. also finished the game in double-digits, with 17 and 10 points each.

Heartbroken Jazz were led by Donovan Mitchell’s 22-point performance, while Rudy Gobert closed the season with a double-double of 19 points and 18 rebounds. The season might be over for them, but they will go out with pride, after they managed to return from a 19-point deficit in the third period of the game.

The Nuggets will now face the Clippers for in the Western Conference semifinals, Game 1 tipping off Thursday.
