The Indiana Pacers are among the teams looking to bring in a new head coach this offseason and so far the main candidates are Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon and former Kings head coach Dave Joerger, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Besides Hammon and Joerger, the Pacers are expected to hold interviews with more potential candidates. According to Wojnarowski’s report, that list also includes Spurs assistant Will Hardy, Heat assistants Dan Craig and Chris Quinn, Mavericks assistants Jamahl Mosley and Stephen Silas, as well as plenty other big names.
Sixers assistant Ime Udoka, Bucks assistant Darvin Ham, Nets assistant, and former interim head coach Jacques Vaughn are expected to also be considered for the position.
The Pacers waived coach Nate McMillan after their first-round elimination by the Heat in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
