The 2019-20 season resumed in the Orlando bubble is nearing its completion with the Los Angeles Lakers up 3-1 in the NBA Finals best-of-seven series versus the Miami Heat. They prevailed, 102-96, Tuesday to get one win away from capturing the title.
LeBron James registered a game-high 28 points alongside 12 rebounds and eight assists. Anthony Davis hit a late dagger three for 22 points, also pulled down nine rebounds, dished out four assists, and blocked four shots.
“Felt like a finals game,” mentioned James after Game 4. “Felt like both teams were desperate and that’s what it’s all about. The job is not done.”
Game 5 is scheduled for Friday. Goran Dragic remained out with the left foot injury but may be back in a must-win situation for the Heat.
Bam Adebayo returned to action with 15 points. Following a Game 3 triple-double, Jimmy Butler got 22 points, ten rebounds, and nine assists in losing effort. Tyler Herro scored 21 points and Duncan Robinson 17.
A 3-1 lead always delivered a championship except for the 2016 postseason. James and the Cleveland Cavaliers then became the only team to turn a 3-1 deficit into a 4-3 triumph with three straight wins opposite to the Golden State Warriors.
