Whether Giannis Antetokounmpo commits long-term to the Milwaukee Bucks or considers his options as a free agent upon the conclusion of the 2020-21 season remains a burning question. Chris Bosh shared his take regarding the Greek Freak’s future in the latest Load Management podcast and the possibility of him signing with the Miami Heat.

“It would be devastating and painful for him in the city if they don’t even at least make it to the Finals,” he said, “Being in that position, what do you do? Let’s be frank. I don’t really see a big-time free agent, saying, ‘I’m going to Milwaukee’. They’ve done it the right way they’ve built around him. It’ll be really tough. And, and the allure of the game, it’s gonna be so many people coming after him.”

The Heat are reportedly expected to place themselves in a salary cap position enabling a bid for Antetokounmpo after the conclusion of the 2020-21 season.

“If you look at Miami, he fits in perfectly there,” claimed Bosh, “And just like you say, with Golden State, but that’s always going to be the thing, right? We’ve got cap space, and you fit in here. So and you know, the toughest part about it too, people are going to start making room for that.”
