The Philadelphia 76ers may be making a move to acquire James Harden from the Houston Rockets. According to Shams Charania, the Sixers are “expected to be interested in and pursue” Harden once the offseason begins.

While the Sixers and other teams, as Charania says, are interesting in getting Harden, the Rockets have absolutely no intention to deal and letting their no. 1 superstar go.

Daryl Morey, as of  Monday (2/11) officially the new Sixers president, was the mastermind behind the trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder that brought Harden to Rockets. “He not only transformed my life but he also revolutionized the game of basketball — and continues to do so — like almost no one has before,” Morey had written in his farewell letter for his departure from the Rockets, the team he served as general manager for 13 years.
