Nikos Rogkavopoulos decided to withdraw from the postponed 2020 NBA draft. He will retain his eligibility moving forward to the 2021 draft.
The promising Greek forward included himself among the early entrants, but the coronavirus situation reforming traditional buildup proceedings kept him from making the trip across the Atlantic Ocean. He subsequently shifts his draft aspirations to 2021.
Rogkavopoulos, 19, looking for an improved playing status with AEK recently tipped off the new Basketball Champions League campaign with five points, two rebounds, two assists, and one steal.
The approaching NBA draft is expected to take place on November 18.
