James Harden has indicated that he wants to stay with the Houston Rockets, but the latest reports mention that he is thinking about the alternatives, should that be needed.
According to a report by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Ramona Shelburne, and Zach Lowe, Harden has begun to consider his future and Brooklyn Nets are “rising to the top of his list”.
A possible move to the Nets would reunite him with former Oklahoma City Thunder Kevin Durant, while also joining Kyrie Irving, a choice that “resonates” with the 31-year-old shooting guard according to the report.
This report comes a day after the news broke about the Nets willing to trade in order to get Harden away from Houston.
Some players that the Nets are willing to give to Rockets to bring Harden to Brooklyn include Spencer Dinwiddie, Caris LeVert, Taurean Prince, and Jarrett Allen, according to Sports Illustrated’s Farbod Esnaashari.
