The Detroit Pistons are trading guard Bruce Brown to the Brooklyn Nets for forward Dzanan Musa and a 2021 second-round pick, according to ESPN. The pick will be via the Toronto Raptors.
Brown, 24, is a tough, defensive-minded guard who’s expected to be a part of the Nets backcourt rotation. He averaged 8.9 points, 4.7 boards and four assists last season over 58 games.
The 21-year-old Musa played 40 games last season with 12 minutes on average of playing time. He was posting 4.8 points, 2.2 boards and 1.1 assists per conntest.
The NBA’s moratorium on transactions will be lifted at noon ET on Monday, after which this deal can be made official.
