Toronto Raptors big man Serge Ibaka and Brooklyn Nets have strong mutual interests, according to Brandon Robinson. It’s one more proof that the Nets are becoming one of the key players in the short offseason of the NBA before the 2020-21 season with Brooklyn being considered also a possible destination for James Harden.
Ibaka spent the first seven years of his NBA career wearing the Oklahoma City jersey and was teammates with Kevin Durant during that time as well as James Harden before he left for the Houston Rockets.
Ibaka moved on to play for the Orlando Magic and the Toronto Raptors, winning the 2019 NBA championship with the latter.
Ibaka made the All-Defensive First Team three times and was the NBA blocks leader for two years straight. Last season, he averaged 15.4 points and 8.2 rebounds.
