Facundo Campazzo has a deal with Denver for a two-year deal which is expected to be one of most lucrative ever for an undrafted player. His salary will have to cover a record buyout of $6 million that Real Madrid will get in order to release him.

The Nuggets can pay directly to Real Madrid only $725.000 and the rest of the buyout will practically come out of Campazzo’s own pockets. There’s already a deal in place which will give the Argentinian player the ability to pay in installments, as the Spanish club has agreed to facilitate his move to the NBA.

To be exact some of the installments have already being paid from Campazzo’s salary in Real Madrid for the 2020-21 season.

In 2019-2020, Campazzo averaged 9.9 points, 7.1 assists, and 2.3 rebounds in 23:53 minutes over 28 games in EuroLeague before the competition shut down on March 12 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He also led Real to win the Copa Del Rey trophy in Spain by posting 13.6 points, 10.3 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 steals in the tournament, earning MVP.

This season in 10 EuroLeague games he averaged 13.5 ppg and 6.7 asp. His last game with Real Madrid is expected to be the Sunday contest for the Spanish Liga Endesa against Baxi Manresa.
