Montrezl Harrell will be another addition to the Los Angeles Lakers. Per ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, The 2020 NBA Sixth Man of the Year will be signing a two-year, 19 million deal with the reigning NBA champions, with the second year being a player option.
Harrell had a standout season in 2019-2020 with the Los Angeles Clippers. He averaged 18.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists in the regular season, along with 10.5 points and 2.9 rebounds in the playoffs, where the Clippers‘ ambitious run was halted by Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets.
The Lakers have also been reported to be targeting Spanish veteran center Marc Gasol for their frontline.
