Donovan Mitchell will ink a maximum rookie scale extension with the Utah Jazz, tweets ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The deal is guaranteed for $163M over the next five seasons and could increase by 30% to $195M if Mitchell meets the All-NBA criteria for the 2020-21 season.
Mitchell, 24, in his third NBA season with the Jazz averaged 22.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per regular-season outing. He went on with 36.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.9 assists per playoffs tilt in the first-round elimination by the Denver Nuggets.
