Kostas Antetokounmpo has inked a new two-way contract with NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers as it was announced Thursday.
23-year-old Antetokounmpo appeared in 38 games for the South Bay Lakers in the 2019-20 season, with an average of 14.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists in a little over 25 minutes per game.
In five games with the Lakers, the Greek forward had an average of 1.4 points over limited time on the court.
With Kostas re-signing with the team, the Lakers hope we will be joined by his brother Giannis, as they’ve shown interest in the Milwaukee Bucks All-Star, though the general consensus remains that Giannis will opt for the supermax extension and remain in Milwaukee.
