Lebron James said that he’s “happy as hell” to have Marc Gasol as a teammate on the Los Angeles Lakers.
“Happy to have Marc, another champion with the Toronto Raptors, who I’ve always loved,” Lebron said. “Marc has my DPOY trophy at his house. Love you Marc, can’t wait to talk about this, James also mentioned referring to the 2013 Defensive Player of the Year award that Gasol won when he played with with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Lebron is also ready to welcome Sixth Player of the Year runner-up Dennis Schroder with open arms. Or, if you want “Dennis The Menace.”
“His nickname, I don’t know if he likes it or not, we have’t this conversation but he’s Dennis the Menace. I love what he brings to the game, his tenacity, he’s a dog. He gets under your skin. He’s a Richard Jefferson, Draymond Green type of guy. If he’s your teammate you love the sh–t out of him, if he’s not you can’t stand him.”
James was also asked about Pau Gasol potentially returning to the Lakers. “We see. We see Maybe… we see,” he replied.
