Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has agreed to a two-year, $85 million maximum contract extension with the team, CEO of Klutch Sports, Rich Paul, told The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
LeBron, who will turn 36 this December, has just completed a successful run with LA that led to the 2020 NBA championship in the NBA bubble in Orlando and has been leading the team with an average of 25.3 points, 10.2 assists and 7.8 rebounds across the 2019-20 season.
The 2020 NBA finals MVP will be on to his third season with the team, after first arriving in the 2018-19 season.
