The Brooklyn Nets and guard Kyrie Irving were fined with $25,000 each by the NBA due to the player not speaking to reporters during Media Week. Irving repeatedly refused to talk to the media, the NBA says.
Per NBA:
Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving and the Nets organization have each been fined 25,000 for violating league rules governing media interview access, the NBA announced today. The fines result from Irving’s refusal on several occassions this week to participate in team media availability.
