Steph Curry had a slower start to the season than was expected but the splash brother has certainly been on fire lately and so was the case in a 115-105 comeback win over the LA Clippers.
The Clippers were up by as much as 22 points (85-63) in the third quarter but it wasn’t enough. Curry led the effort with 38 points and 11 assists while Andrew Wiggins scored 16 points. On the opposing side, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard had 25 and 24 respectively with Serge Ibaka adding 19.
Nikola Vucevic was leading the Euro effort last night with 22 points and 12 boards but Orlando was outmatched by the Houston Rockets 132-90. Christian Wood had 22 points, 15 rebounds and James Harden logged 15 points, 13 assists.
Utah Jazz didn’t have Joe Ingles, who missed the first game since 2015, in their ranks but came out on top against Milwaukee despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 35 and Khris Middleton’s 31 points.
Donovan Mitchell scored 32 for the victors followed by Jordan Clarkson with 26 and Bojan Bogdanovic with 20 points.
The reigning champions in LA Lakers just barely got past the Bulls with 117-115 on the scoreboard. LeBron James logged 28/7/7 in Anthony Davis’ absence while Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroder added 17 points each. Harrell also grabbed 14 boards.
