Russell Westbrook won’t be joining the Washington Wizards efforts on the court in the upcoming week due to a left quad injury, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
The star guard tried playing through the quad injury and additionally, also had suffered a dislocated finger earlier.
The 32-year-old played seven games so far this season for his new team, averaging 19.3 points, 11.3 assists, and 9.7 rebounds in 37 minutes.
In his debut for the Wizards, Westbrook logged 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 15 assists and became the sixth player in NBA history to record a triple-double in a team debut.
