With James Harden once more openly demonstrating his discontent, the Rockets are ready to pull the trigger and trade him.
Rockets coach Stephen Silas said James Harden was not at practice today. “We felt that it was best for the group and best for James not to come to practice.” With Harden saying after two straight blowout defeats by the Lakers that the Rockets “just aren’t good enough”, Silas admitted that things are tense.
“That’s hard to hear, especially when you don’t believe it and you know it not to be true,” said Silas. “There has to be some sort of resolution, whether it’s a complete buy-in at some level or some other way to get it taken care of.”
That resolution is expected to be the trade of Harden either to the Nets or the Sixers, with the Nets being the favorites according to “The Athletic”.
