Nikola Jokic put on another triple-double performance as he led the Denver Nuggets to a 114-104 win over the Golden State Warriors.
Jokic scored 23 points while adding 14 rebounds and ten assists. Will Barton and Jamal Murray helped with 17 points each. On the opposing side, Stephen Curry had 35 points and 11 boards.
Another European big in Domantas Sabonis also had a strong outing, scoring 23 points and grabbing 15 boards in Indiana’s 111-87 winning effort against the Portland Trail Blazers who lost Jusuf Nurkic to injury.
Malcolm Brogdon scored 25 for Indiana while Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum had 22 each for Portland.
In the first game since sending off James Harden in a trade, the Houston Rockets got a 109-105 win vs. the San Antonio Spurs.
Christian Wood stepped up with 27 points and 15 boards while, on the other side, Keldon Johnson scored 29.
Philadelphia beat the short-handed Miami team 125-108 with Shake Milton leading the way. He scored 31 while Ben Simmons had a triple-double with ten points, ten rebounds and 12 assists.
