Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving bought a house for the family of George Floyd, Stephen Jackson revealed.
“A lot of my friends [have helped]. Kyrie Irving bought them a house. Lil Wayne’s manager bought them a Mercedes Benz. Barbra Streisand gave them stock in Disney,” Jackson said to “The Rematch” podcast.
Jackson, a former NBA player and close friend of the deceased Floyd, said that Irving was among the people who has helped the family by buying them a new home. Floyd’s murder by a policeman last May sparked protests in the USA and around the world against racial injustice and police brutality.
