Portland Trail Blazers star CJ McCollum will be out out for a significant amount of time and will be re-evaluated in four weeks, the team announced.
The Blazers say that McCollum suffered a small hairline fracture to the lateral cuneiform in his left foor and a mid-foot sprain that will force him to be out at least a month. The player was injured in the first half of Saturday’s (16/1) game between Portland and the Atlanta Hawks.
Before his injury, McCollum was having a spectacular season, averaging career-highs 26.7 points and 5.0 assists, along with 3.9 rebounds.
