Luka Doncic registered his 31st triple-double Monday in a Dallas Mavericks’ loss to the Denver Nuggets and caught up with a couple of NBA all-time greats in various categories.
After surpassing Michael Jordan for most career triple-doubles, Doncic now tied the “Air” for the 8th most 30-point triple-doubles in the league history, per Mavs PR. The 21-year-old Slovenian point forward also tied Magic Johnson when it comes to the second-most triple-doubles by a player before 23 years of age.
When it comes to overall career triple-doubles, Doncic tied John Havlicek for the 13th most in the history of the league. The Mavs star also matched Havlicek on another list, the one with the most triple-doubles with 20 points or most.
Doncic now has 28 20-point plus triple-doubles, the same number Havlicek had in his career. It’s the 10th most ever in NBA history.
