Dario Saric missed the beginning of the 2020-21 NBA Regular Season with a quad injury and was sidelined again since January 12 after entering the health and safety protocols. The Phoenix Suns hope to have him back on Saturday versus the Dallas Mavericks, notes John Gambadoro of Arizona Sports.
Saric, 26, in the seven games between his two stints on the inactive list went for 10.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per appearance. He seems likely to retrieve his important role in the rotation upon being cleared.
The Croatian big is getting in strength and conditioning work since rejoining the Suns. He participated in the pregame warmup for Thursday’s home affair versus the Golden State Warriors.
His team at 9-8 currently holds one of the Western Conference spots leading to the playoffs.
