The Dallas Mavericks fell to Portland Trail Blazers 121-118 though Luka Doncic made franchise history on Sunday.
The Slovenian guard is now the team leader in most points scored by a player in consecutive games (90), surpassing even Mavs legend Dirk Nowitzki, per Mavs PR.
Doncic has posted a total of 90 points in his last two games, with a 46-point career-high performance against the New Orleans Pelicans, along with 44 points in the loss to Portland. With these two performaces, Doncic broke Mark Aguirre’s record (87 points), which he posted between January 26-28 in 1985.
