Facu Campazzo came off the bench and contributed a key performance in the Denver Nuggets’ 122-105 victory against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Argentinian rookie had 15 points and 4 assists, along with 2 steals in 26 minutes of play, while he also produced -arguably- the best assist of the season.
Campazzo handed out a no-look pass to Zeke Nnaji in the first quarter that crossed next to the head of Kyle Kuzma and Nnaji later on drained the three-pointer.
“Facu was a really big part of this win. He’s not afraid, he’s not afraid of the matchup, he’s not afraid of the moment. He’s a warrior, and after 25 games that we’ve played, when he’s on the court, good things happen”, said coach Mike Malone after the Nuggets’ win.
