Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis will miss at least two to three weeks of action due to a calf strain, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports. Davis was injured in the second quarter during the Lakers’ 122 – 105 loss to the Denver Nuggets, Sunday (14/2), exiting the game.
The MRI that Davis underwent also showed a re-aggravation of the right Achilles tendonitis that forced Davis to miss two games against the Oklahoma City Thunder (a pair of overtime wins for the Lakers) last week.
Davis will likely miss the Lakers’ nine upcoming matches since his return to the team is expected after the All-Star break.
The Lakers are currently 21-7 and at the second spot in the Western Conference standings behind Utah Jazz.
