The Dallas Mavericks – Detroit Pistons game is being postponed due to the order of Texas Governor Greg Abbott because of a state of emergency in response to severe weather, per Shams Charania.
The duel was supposed to be played on Wednesday night (February 17th). After that, Dallas is scheduled to go on the road against Houston two days later.
The Mavs are coming off a narrow loss to the Portland Trail Blazers and hold a 13-15 record in the West. Detroit, which bottoms the East with 8-19 has already had its match against the Spurs postponed due to the latter registering positive COVID-19 cases.
