Killian Tillie in his first NBA game and on his second three-point shot connected sending the Memphis Grizzlies players on the bench into a frenzy.
A couple of injuries postponed his NBA debut. He was even considered questionable due to a foot issue in the buildup for the matchup versus the Houston Rockets on the road but was eventually cleared. In his first nine NBA minutes, he made 1/2 triples, grabbed one rebound, and got a steal.
Tillie, 22, younger brother of experienced big Kim Tillie, went undrafted coming out of Gonzaga but earned a spot on the Grizzlies roster securing a two-way contract.
Assisted by his three points, the Grizzlies bench scored 85 points, a franchise record for the most points by reserve players in a single game. The winning margin of 49 points set yet another franchise record.
