Luka Doncic’s career has been turning heads around the globe and he’s already become one of the most popular superstars.
He’s been breaking records regularly, got a shoe deal with the Jordan brand and now he enters the books as the player whose collectible card has been sold for an astonishing 4.6 million dollars. The buyer was Nick Fiorella, a collector.
The card in question is the “National Treasures Auto Logoman 1/1”. It was autographed by Doncic and it was sold on Sunday which coincidentally was also the day of his 22nd birthday.

This sale set a record number for a basketball card and is second overall for a sports card behind a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle that sold for $5.2 million.
The deal shattered a lot of previously known records, per Yahoo Sports. A signed Giannis Antetokounmpo rookie card sold for $1.812 million in September, and a LeBron James signed rookie card sold for $1.8 million in July.
Tom Brady had a rookie card sold for almost $600,000 in January, and Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout had one go for almost $4 million. Michael Jordan had a signed card from the 1992 All-Star Game go for $1.4 million earlier this month.
