LeBron James will miss his first game of the season this Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings, according to reports by The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
James’ absence from Wednesday’s game will not impact his All-Star Game appearance on Sunday, according to the report.
36-year-old James had participated in all 36 games for the reigning champions this season, with an average of 25.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 7.8 assists while leading the Lakers to a 24-12 record, the third-best in the Western Conference.
