The Oklahoma City Thunder have been accumulating more and more Draft picks over the last couple of months and their stock just got even bigger.
Oklahoma will be trading forward Trevor Ariza to the Miami Heat and will be getting back forward Meyers Leonard and a 2027 second-round pick, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. This deal is increasing the Thunder‘s draft picks to 32 for the next seven years: 17 for the Draft’s first round and 15 for the second round.
During one of their trades that sent them yet another first-round pick (for 2025) the Thunder also acquired the rights of Anadolu Efes star guard Vasilije Micic from the Philadelphia 76ers along with rookie guard Theo Maledon. The latter got former EuroLeague center Vincent Poirier in return, as well as guards Terrance Ferguson and Danny Green.
