Milwaukee Bucks forward Rodions Kurucs on Friday pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, a non-criminal violation in New York City, after previously facing allegations he had assaulted his girlfriend in 2019, according to The Athletic.
Kurucs received a conditional discharge and must complete a 16-week domestic violence program and abide by a final order of protection, according to a Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office spokesman. The videos for the program are available online and after completion, the case will seal, according to Kurucs’ attorney Alex Spiro.
“As we said from the outset, this was a heated exchange, not a violent crime, which is why the matter has been resolved without a criminal finding or criminal record,” Spiro said.
