Two-time DPOY Rudy Gobert set a new career-high of blocks as the Utah Jazz prevailed over the Chicago Bulls 120-95 on Monday. The French center left the court with a total of 9 blocks, to go along with 21 points and 10 rebounds.
“It’s all about getting better and building on the energy we have,” Gobert told the media after the win. “When we come into the game we are thinking about defense and our defensive focus. Tonight, we did that and we have to keep doing that and getting better one game at a time.”
Gobert has previously won the Defensive Player of the season award in 2018 and 2019, while he led the league in blocks in 2017.
