The Bulls land Nikola Vucevic and Al Farouq Aminu for Otto Porter, Wendell Carter Jr, and two first-round picks. Huge addition for Chicago, who remains in pursuit of Lonzo Ball, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Arturas Karnisovas, Marc Eversley and Billy Donovan wanted to bring on a productive, serious-minded veteran player to be a cornerstone for the Bulls and decided on pursuing Vucevic to fill that role.
The Bulls, who currently sit at the 10th spot in the East, are also looking to add Lonzo Ball as they chase the playoffs this year.
Vucevic is joining two other Europeans on the Bulls starting lineup – Tomas Satoransky and Lauri Markkanen – which will be completed with Zach LaVine and Patrick Williams in all likelihood, with Thaddeus Young coming off the bench.
