After moving Nikola Vucevic to the Chicago Bulls, the Orlando Magic are now finalizing a deal to send Evan Fournier to the Boston Celtics, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Two second-round picks were offered in return.
Aaron Gordon is still on deck and probably the next to go. Orlando will gather significant draft assets at the end of it all and keep young players such as Jonathan Isaac and Markele Fultz under contract long-term, as they get into a rebuilding process.
Fournier has had some injury issues this season and skipped a number of games but over the 26 games he did play, the French guard averaged 19.7 points on 39% from deep, 3.7 assists, 2.7 rebounds, and one steal in 30 minutes.
