LaMarcus Aldridge will sign with the Brooklyn Nets, the seven-time All-Star center’s agent confirmed to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Aldridge was a free agent after officially completing his buyout process with the San Antonio Spurs.
After leaving the Spurs following a six-year stint, Aldridge will be joining a roster packed with All-Stars in Brooklyn. The Nets, who had also acquired Blake Griffin as a free agent, now have a combined number of players with 41 appearances in All-Star games mainly due to the presence of Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving
Aldridge played 21 games with the Spurs in 2020-21, missing also a number of matches due to injuries. He averaged 13.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists.
