The Milwaukee Bucks are leading the race when it comes to signing Austin Rivers who is getting waived by the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to Shams Charania.
Rivers was traded to the Thunder as a part of a three-way deal with the Philadelphia 76ers and the New York Knicks which also sent Vincent Poirier to New York. Poirier is also expected to get waived.
The 28-year-old guard has been playing around 21 minutes on average for the Knicks this season, posting 7.3 points on 36% from deep, 2.3 rebounds, and two assists per game.
Another addition for the Bucks roster after they traded for PJ Tucker and Rodions Kurucs, as they search for the right lineup to come out on top in the Eastern Conference.
